We're a blend of families, friends, careers, origins and other contributors when two become one.We've just returned from Princeton, New Jersey, where my husband went to seminary and began his calling to the ministry over 30 years ago--we've been married for half of those years. Now we're on the cusp of blending in another way--he's going to retire from full time ministry to half-time ministry and I will continue to work full time. Maybe he'll greet me at the door with a blender of margaritas now that he'll have some "spare time." That will be refreshing. I'm already looking forward to it.Wednesday, March 9, 2011
